Talk:Dengue fever/Archive

Article title edit

I moved this article from Dengue to Dengue fever to avoid confusion with a destination. -- (WT-en) Huttite 14:27, 21 Jan 2006 (EST)

Rollback edit

I rolled back the edit of an anonymous user because Wikivoyage is not a medical encyclopaedia. That version of the article [1] has a few facts in it that might be usefully added but the formal, officious and medical wording does not really fit the Wikivoyage style - which should be non-technical. -- (WT-en) Huttite 14:27, 21 Jan 2006 (EST)

I have now tried combining the two versions and have rewritten. I have moved some of the important information to the front of the article and tried to include all the facts from both versions. Some of the technical stuff is still there but worded differently. I left the drug terms in because these will appear on medicine labels. One question: is Paracetamol safe? That fact is not mentioned. -- (WT-en) Huttite 16:04, 21 Jan 2006 (EST)
Paracetamol is the treatment suggested by the WHO in this press release. [2] 203.211.80.206 04:39, 24 November 2006 (EST)
