Hotel listing moved from article
editIn view of Wikivoyage:Avoid negative reviews, I've moved this listing here for discussion:
- 1 Hotel Zakaria International (Zakiria Hotel), 35, Gulshan Road, Mohakhali, ☏ +880 6662613127. Really disgusting hotel, locks on the doors are insecure.
Is there such a dearth of hotels in this part of Dhaka that we should list this hotel, anyway, with a negative review? By the way, the previous version of the description had been "Value for money. The rooms are clean and en suite." I see no reason to disbelieve the current version, but this is just for the record. Ikan Kekek (talk) 15:37, 30 November 2015 (UTC)
I felt like I had to warn people - I stayed there based on the original posting and it was nothing like described. The floor was ripped up and dirty, the bedsheets were stained, the hotel insisted on keeping our passports, and someone could have forced the lock pretty easily. I didn't feel safe. Maybe it was nicer under previous management? Chanrakcacti (talk) 07:40, 1 December 2015 (UTC)Chanrakcacti
- Could be, but is the hotel so well known that it's important to list it and warn people, rather than de-list it as not recommended? Ikan Kekek (talk) 07:48, 1 December 2015 (UTC)
