Can anybody prove the text below by external link or so? "More recently it has been used for filming some of the scenes from the Oscar winning film Gladiator."
I haven't found "Gladiator" (2000) official web site, but there is no Tunisia in Filming locations neither here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gladiator_(2000_film)#Production nor here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0172495/locations
