Talk:Grand Isle County
Get Rid of Town Articles?
editI think Grand Isle County would be better served with all content on 1 page. It has fewer than 7,000 residents and is roughly 80 square miles. It makes more sense to me as a final destination article that would have all listings in one place. There isn't enough to see in the component towns to justify pages for all of them.Godsendlemiwinks (talk) 23:13, 18 February 2015 (UTC)
- So long as the article can still be organized in a way that makes sense I'd say go ahead. Combined with your suggestion below of renaming the article to "Lake Champlain Islands" this proposal sounds like a similar approach to how we've handled destinations like Perhentian Islands. -- Ryan • (talk) • 23:29, 18 February 2015 (UTC)

Not sure this still exists. I'll leave it here for now. All the other Grand Isle content has been moved to the Grand Isle County article.Godsendlemiwinks (talk) 23:56, 18 February 2015 (UTC)
Change name to "Lake Champlain Islands"?
editCounties are meaningless in much of New England anyway and most people refer to the area as "the islands" to begin with.Godsendlemiwinks (talk) 23:13, 18 February 2015 (UTC)
