New lynching in Jasper?

Unfortunately, Jasper is in the news again, for all the wrong reasons. Black Man in Jasper, Texas Found With Cut Throat And Missing Ear - Ruled ‘Accidental Overdose`. Depending on the outcome of the eventual Federal case that I imagine will be prosecuted, it might be advisable to warn African-Americans not to drive through Jasper if they're afraid their vehicle might stall... Very disturbing.

I think a warning box referencing this article is needed.

I think that the warning box should have clear language and have a wider warning addressed to "non-whites" since the assumption is that Jews, Hispanics, Asians and anyone else whose great-grandparents didn't come from Iceland are at severe risk of racist attacks.

I think the more prominent and lurid the warning, the better chance that somebody from Jasper will complain and then the whole warning will be picked up by the media and, Bingo, more readers... --210.246.34.121 06:40, 11 February 2014 (UTC)
