Is there anything to do here? edit

A good level of detail so far about getting in.... but what would I actually do when I'm in there? Stand around? Turn around and walk back out? --Andrewssi2 (talk) 10:51, 16 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Apparently, they put you to work. I think visitors would go there mainly for the novelty. Ikan Kekek (talk) 11:02, 16 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
I updated 'do' to make that slightly more obvious :) --Andrewssi2 (talk) 21:05, 16 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Isn't Liberland unclaimed by both countries? edit

If I'm reading the Wikipedia articles on w:Liberland and w:Croatia–Serbia border dispute#Territorial claims correctly: Neither Croatia nor Serbia claim Liberland. It's a case akin to Bi'r Tawīl. Emmette Hernandez Coleman (talk) 04:57, 25 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

It seems it is akin to Bir Tawil. From what I understand, Croatia says the border should follow the former bed of the river, so they want pieces of land now ruled by Serbia but not Gornja Siga (which should belong to Serbia, in this view), and Serbia says they are fine with the current border that follows the current bed of the river, so they are okay with leaving Gornja Siga out. So everyone should be fine with Liberland proclaiming independence as it's on a land that nobody officially claims, but also according to w:Liberland#Legality: "...and multiple sources have reported that both Serbia and Croatia dispute ownership of the land Jedlička has targeted.". It seems like it's a case of "if the other side does not want it, why not us?", if I could put it correctly. Vidimian (talk) 09:40, 25 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
