Cities vs Regions

I wonder if listing all the municipalities as cities is appropriate to do here? There are something like 36 municipalities that might be listed. Most of these municipalities are more like rural regions or districts dotted with villages that are grouped together for administrative purposes. To call them cities is misleading. (Although some might be other destinations). If all the municipalities are listed then the list would substantially exceed the desirable 7±2 rule. Wikipedia also suggests that Møre og Romsdal is traditionally, culturally and geographically divided into three regions:

• Nordmøre - The northern coastal region, which consists of Kristiansund, Averøy, Tingvoll, Surnadal, Rindal, Aure, Halsa, Eide, Sunndal, Gjemnes and Smøla municipalities.
• Romsdal - Based on the central valley of the Rauma river and consists of Molde, Aukra, Fræna, Midsund, Nesset, Rauma, Sandøy, and Vestnes municipalities.
• Sunnmøre - The southern costal region, which consists of Ålesund, Giske, Hareid, Herøy, Norddal, Sande, Skodje, Haram, Stordal, Stranda, Sula, Sykkylven, Ulstein, Vanylven, Volda, Ørskog, and Ørsta municipalities.

There are only 3 communities that one might consider cities in the conventional sense here.

• Kristiansund, which is the only city in Nordmøre.
• Molde, which is the administrative centre of the county.
• Ålesund, which is the major city in Sunnmøre and the largest of the county.

Additionally, Åndalsnes is a railroad terminal and transit point for travellers, so could warrant a mention in the city list. How does this sort of region/city breakdown sound? - (WT-en) Huttite 23:36, 8 January 2010 (EST)

I mean: Should Geiranger also be listed as a Destination within the Møre og Romsdal-page or a new Romsdal-page instead of having it's own page? Vebjorl (talk) 23:07, 8 December 2013 (UTC)

Map error?

The map possibly has the wrong location for Aure. Shown on the map is Aure in Fræna municipality, not Aure in Aure municipality which the link under "Other destinations" goes to. 77.223.173.83 22:37, 23 November 2018 (UTC)

Region articles

Region articles should not have detailed listings for points of interest, restaurants, shops, or hotels. Wikivoyage:Region article template says:

"Individual listings should be placed at the lowest available level of local page (a district of a huge city or the city page for a small town)."

"points of interest (such as those mentioned in "See" sections) should not usually have markers in region articles but should be linked to the bottom-level article where they have full listings."
