Talk:Melbourne/South-Eastern suburbs

Frankston did have a good page going but now it has been incorporated into this bigger area. I'm not sure it really is an improvement. I've changed (moved) the page name from Southern Suburbs to South Eastern Suburbs. South Eastern Suburbs is the more commonly used name for the area and there is a corresponding Wikipedia page.

I have thought for a long time the Dandenong/Cranbourne/Pakenham page was a weird name so maybe those suburbs benefit from this bigger area page. Or maybe not, I mean surely Dandenong could of had its own page with a bit of effort.

My general thoughts are that the Frankston page has been butchered for the sake of other suburbs and now there is a page which is mainly about Frankston and it is confusing as it has some other unrelated content. And some of the good content Frankston had has been lost. Harleyca (talk) 05:43, 6 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

I think the Frankston page should be reinstated, it was a good page. It shouldn't suffer because other pages suck due to lack of effort. Dandenong should have its own page too. In my opinion the Dandenong page did not flourish because it was polluted by Cranbourne and Pakenham being part of the same page. Harleyca (talk) 06:50, 6 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

I agree that Frankston should be reinstated, but any of not the others, which have very little content. Ar2332 (talk) 17:42, 6 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
