Talk:Parappistan

K7L, I noticed I made a mistake. I should've moved the article itself to the appropriate place, like someone has done with his earlier masterpiece (and that one has the correct attribution). Why not just move this "article" to where I pasted the content? I think that overwrites what was there before. ϒpsilon (talk) 19:23, 20 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

An administrator would have to do that as the copy-paste text must be deleted first to make way for the move. If I try to move this, it'll fail with "page already exists". K7L (talk) 19:27, 20 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
If Monty Python would've done a sketch about WV articles it'd probably be about how to move a Silly article and save the attribution... ϒpsilon (talk) 19:33, 20 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
The closest match would be Royal Society for Putting Things on Top of Other Things. In MediaWiki, that would be:
Things will now be on top of Other Things. Quite silly, actually. God Save the Queen. K7L (talk) 19:46, 20 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
Since the original author was an anon there isn't anything to attribute. This article should simply be deleted from mainspace now. -- Ryan • (talk) • 19:54, 20 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
As far as I know, we attribute anon contributions to the IP address. A copy-paste makes it appear that the user who BJAODN'ed this is the original author, which is an error. Presumably deleting Wikivoyage:Bad jokes and other deleted nonsense/Parappistan and moving this into its place is correct. Should I withdraw my VfD discussion, as there's really no point in sending this through process? K7L (talk) 19:58, 20 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
Return to "Parappistan" page.
