Talk:Rome/Trastevere

Hello, It was brought to my attention that the Rome/Trastevere entry contained false and misleading information on John Cabot University. In my capacity as the Coordinator of Publications and Institutional Communications at JCU, I have removed it and inserted factual information. After checking the entry, however, I discovered that someone had removed the official information and re-posted the previous entry. Subsequently I re-inserted the correct information and again it was removed. I hereby request that the editors of Wikivoyage monitor this situation closely since someone is clearly using this website to disseminate defamatory information about JCU. Thank you. Berenice Cocciolillo

Frankly, allthough I keep a regular eye on new Rome edits, this is not something I can be bothered about. Maybe we should just remove the universities from the Rome pages altogether, that way you don't have to worry about it any more, and it's not really useful to travellers anyway. --(WT-en) Stefan (sertmann) Talk 06:30, 25 June 2009 (EDT)

Fully agree. Let's just delete it.(WT-en) Shep 14:47, 25 June 2009 (EDT)

Removed. For the record, I reverted your changes (several times) because it appeared that someone was replacing traveler-written information with what looked to be written by, say, a Coordinator of Publications and Institutional Communications from the university. The latter didn't look useful at all. --(WT-en) Peter Talk 14:58, 25 June 2009 (EDT)

It certainly looked far more useful and truthful than defamatory false remarks.

This is fine with me. Thanks. BC
