At the age of ten I went on a school trip from England to Paris, and I've been travelling ever since, doing a lot of hitch-hiking in the days when that was still possible. I spent two years studying in Illinois and I have lived for a total of five years in the South Pacific so I'm trying to improve Wikivoyage for that region. I'm fortunate to have a job that sends me around the world and have visited around 110 countries. I am a great fan of the area north of Rome, northern Lazio and Umbria, and was appalled at how little info Wikivoyage had on these areas. So, little by little, I'll try to put in a few pages..... A long run project that will require much more work is to improve the coverage of some of Rome's districts. Recently I have turned my attention to rectifying some of the gaps in Wikivoyage's coverage of Papua New Guinea, a fascinating country that deserves more visitors than it gets.
