Talk:Sleepy Hollow

Hi! I'm all for disabiguating the ambiguous, however it would seem to me that the former North Tarrytown is probably the most famous Sleepy Hollow by a pretty long margin. How many of the other Sleepy Hollows have had a movie made in their name by Tim Burton? Just wonderin' -- (WT-en) Mark 19:40, 19 May 2006 (EDT)

I wholeheartedly agree about the fame of the setting for Washington Irving's story (Burton's loose adaptation sure didn't hurt). In retrospect I should have left the article on the village in NY where it was and merely added the one in Illinois. Is it too late to remediate? On the other hand, at least I refrained from showing a bias against one of the many recent imposter Sleepy Hollows. (WT-en) SHC 20:16, 19 May 2006 (EDT)

Why on earth does this have guide status and not even a map? Hobbitschuster (talk) 15:25, 20 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
