- If it's closed I guess we shouldn't mention it now in the travel guides, unless you expect it will be re-opened very soon. If not, it can always be added later, if and when it does, right? Any other places we really need to cover? JuliasTravels (talk) 11:51, 18 October 2013 (UTC)

- Good question :-) It meets our most basic article criteria, I think, but except for passers-through there's not much tourism left and I don't think we can make an attractive article out of it. I like this whole idea of an overview article(s), perhaps divided in some regions. - I still believe that region articles is the best for Suriname. That makes 5 articles:
- - Suriname
- - Paramaribo
- - Inland Suriname (districts 1,6,9)
- - Northeast Suriname (districts 2,4,7,10)
- - Northwest Suriname (districts 3,5,8)

- Sure, let's give it a go. We have gathered quite a bit of info now, so a maximum of 3 regions seems workable. You will put the Nickerie information also the relevant region then? JuliasTravels (talk) 12:31, 18 October 2013 (UTC)

- I want to create all 5. So we can adapt Suriname and Paramaribo freely in the sandbox. After we are satisfied with the 5 articles we put them in production in one move. --WiDi (talk) 12:59, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
- The problem is that we then lose the history. I'm not so much worried about my own "copyright", but it should be possible for others to jump in without the history being gone later. I think we can add information to Suriname and Paramaribo "live" anyway. If we start with the other regions, we'll see what's left and what we have to put in the existing Suriname and Paramaribo articles. If we don't like the result, we just change it.
