Why span? edit
The template uses <span id=...>. Why use the general "span" when there is <a name=...>, which is the HTML anchor element. I assume some software that analyse HTML pages collect list of anchors on the page and treat those different from mere IDs, which can be linked but usually exist for other reasons. –LPfi (talk) 09:28, 8 November 2022 (UTC)
