edit- 1 Santísima Trinidad de Paraná (Ruinas Jesuíticas de la Santísima Trinidad del Paraná) (Taking any bus going north, you can get off at Trinidad. Locals will happily shout "Ruinas!" as you approach; return buses are caught from the shelter across the road from where you disembark at a crossroads. Walk up the street branching off to the right for about 500 m. There's a small visitor information centre on the left side just before you reach the ruins. It is a 5-minute walk.). Summer 07:00-19:00, winter 07:00-17:30. It'll take one to two hours to see the whole area. Also features a small museum. GS.25,000, which is valid for 3 days and includes entrance to the other two nearby Jesuit Ruins. You cannot buy a ticket only for Trinidad.
Do
editRead about Jesuit history in the region before travelling to the Jesuit Misions. It will enhance the whole experience, since there's little information available on the site.
Rent a Bicycle at the Ruinas Hotel and cycle the 10km to Jesús ruins.
Buy
editArtisans sometimes sell crafts in tents just outside the fence surrounding Trinidad.
Eat
editThere are a few options along the street connecting Ruta 6 and the ruins.

Go next
editOn the main road where the buses between Encarnación and Ciudad del Este pass, there is a service station just east of the turnoff to Trinidad where transportation to the ruins at Jesus de Tavarangue (11.6 km from the service station) can be found. A small bus runs approximately hourly for a cost of GS.4,000. These ruins are accessed with the same ticket purchased to enter Trinidad.
