Mon Country Mon State Mon national flag or Mon people flag Area covering Old Mon Country known in history as Hongsgwaddy or Rehmanaya, conquered by the Burmese in 1757. Mon State created by Ne Win Government in 1974, comprising Moulmein and Thatan districts.
