Thanks for adding/filling in the Hyatt listings across the world. You're doing a good job of making the hotels sound attractive without being a tout. Please keep it up! (WT-en) Gorilla Jones 11:18, 25 July 2007 (EDT)
Hi Marc, thanks for your encouragement. It's good to see that the Wikivoyage community is active: I hope the project goes well. Regarding the entries - I read the guidelines so I've put in the key facts as requested and a couple of sentences detailing things that I hope people would find interesting about the hotels. I'll put some more up now, thanks! --(WT-en) Christiantc 05:12, 3 August 2007 (EDT)
- I was just about to add a Hyatt listing for O'Hare International Airport, but then I thought I ought to leave that one to you... (WT-en) Gorilla Jones 19:41, 4 August 2007 (EDT)
- Currently I'm only responsible for Hyatt International: ie South America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australasia. Please go ahead and add any entries you like, especially those in North America, as I'm not covering those at the moment. Also it's good to see a variety of points of view. Much appreciated, thanks! --(WT-en) Christiantc 06:52, 7 August 2007 (EDT)
- Sorry if I'm being nosy, but just to clarify, you're working for Hyatt International and they've requested that you do this? Has Hyatt considered an "official" presence here? Our Internet Brands partner site Flyertalk.com has quite a few company reps (eg. Marriott and a number of airlines), but this would be a great first for Wikivoyage. - Hi Jani. I work for Travelclick and Travelclick is providing internet marketing services to Hyatt International. Hyatt hasn't asked us to do this specifically. Our job is to raise Hyatt's online presence using as many white hat practices as we can think of! Adding/updating Hyatt's hotel entries on wikivoyage.org is one of the various things we're doing. We're always on the lookout for additional ways we can help. So how would the official presence work?: I just Googled ("official presence" site:wikivoyage.org) and nothing came up. Thanks for your interest and assistance. --(WT-en) Christiantc 10:06, 7 August 2007 (EDT)
- It's not there because you would be the first... but see Project:Welcome, business owners: basically, you'd create a dedicated Hyatt user account and eg. offer to answer any questions about Hyatt. (WT-en) Jpatokal 05:53, 9 August 2007 (EDT)
Hotel removals
editPlease do not remove hotels just because they are no longer operated by Hyatt. It's usually quite trivial to figure out who runs it now, just google the address. (WT-en) Jpatokal 05:30, 6 November 2009 (EST)
