Unilateral new Buenos Aires district article edit

You don't seem to want anything on your user talk page, but you need to avoid starting new district articles unilaterally. The procedure is to propose any new district divisions on the relevant city's talk page - in this case, Talk:Buenos Aires. Wikis are collaboratively authored sites, and if you would rather start your own site, feel free, but otherwise, state on Talk:Buenos Aires what new boundary lines you propose, why your proposed new district structure is better for travelers than the existing one, and about how many listings you expect the new district(s) to have. Then wait at least a few days to see if a consensus agrees with you. Thanks. Ikan Kekek (talk) 22:44, 25 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello @Ikan Kekek, I like my talk page to be clean. I opened the Buenos Aires/Urquiza page because it was on eswikivoyage. Lionel Cristiano (talk) 23:40, 25 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
So, does there always need to be a consensus to open such pages? Kind regards. Lionel Cristiano (talk) 23:55, 25 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Most of the time, no, but yes for district and region articles. --SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 02:28, 26 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Please do make a proposal, though, if you like. Although different Wikivoyages don't necessarily copy each other, the more content that's covered in articles about Buenos Aires on this Wikivoyage, the more need there may be for additional district articles. If you don't mind, we can definitely undelete that article and move it to your userspace whilst we're discussing this. --SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 02:05, 27 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
