Hello Sertmann! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Project:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub.

Wow! Fantastic work on those Sakhalin destinations! I really enjoy seeing Wikivoyage coverage expanding throughout such a remote destination. --(WT-en) Peter Talk 00:37, 25 July 2008 (EDT)

Thanks for changing Northern Territory to a usable article, I think it's a guide, but maybe it's missing something? (WT-en) Lex 02:25, 25 September 2008 (EDT)

Its still nice to notice the rome tours section has only one company on it which looks like it promotes one company and gives some variety to the readers. Thanks to you and please thank everyone else involved for as always being extremely fair. -emme

Missing Africa map edit

Looks like it's back anyway, but the problem was likely related to our ongoing issues with page caching. If an image isn't displaying like that, chances are you can fix the problem by purging the page cache. To do so:

 1. Click "history";
 2. Go to the url bar and change the word "history" to "purge" and then press enter;
 3. Refresh.

So to clear the page cache of Africa, you need to enter "http://en.wikivoyage.org/w/index.php?title=Africa&action=purge" and then refresh. This shouldn't all be necessary, but we've yet to fix the problem in some five years, so it's good to know the workaround! --(WT-en) Peter Talk 18:21, 25 September 2008 (EDT)

Northern Territory edit

Oh thank you, it is a labour of love, have you visited this place? It is so difficult to put into words what it's like. It changes you.

Wow that sounds amazing! You should absolutely do that. A quick question, I would love for Northern Territory and Darwin to get up to guide level, is there anything specific that you can see that I could edit so that it could happen? Any advice is much appreciated :)(WT-en) Lex 22:15, 25 September 2008 (EDT)

Fantastic map! Looks like you have a star in the making. Perhaps you could add a few internet cafes under a "contact" section? Anyway, I envy you a bit, living in Copenhagen—I only spent a couple days there, but that was enough to realize that it's a wonderful city. --(WT-en) Peter Talk 20:37, 28 September 2008 (EDT)

To get more comments on your star nomination, I recommend leaving a notice in the pub that you have started a new nomination, and would appreciate comments. --(WT-en) Peter Talk 18:58, 7 October 2008 (EDT)

Tokyo's islands edit

To avoid overloading an already huge article, all parts of Tokyo outside the 23-ku are covered in Tokyo (prefecture), not Tokyo itself. I've added pointers to "Get out" and moved some content to the Izu Islands and Ogasawara Islands articles. (WT-en) Jpatokal 03:24, 8 October 2008 (EDT)

Hey Stefan, (WT-en) Colin nominated you for admin. Would you please let us know whether you accept. (I certainly hope you will!) --(WT-en) Peter Talk 21:50, 21 October 2008 (EDT)

Hey, Sertmann! edit

Hiya, there, Sertmann! I wanted to ask you what you think of what I am proposing, and if it is at all reacheable in the timeframe I'm gussing. Just you're opinion, since your so helpful.

Anyways...my plan is to districtify Edmonton (see it's talk page), of which I have already begun working on. Seeing my pace (80% done Central Edmonton, 5% done North Edmonton) I think I can gather my information all together in about one weeek ( I know originally 1.5-2) and what I will do is summarize the main page more, and do you think it'll still be able to be a guide? I am aiming for all the districts to be at least useable, except central, which would be GUIDE! Do you think it is very plauseable? And then, after everything gets cleaned up completely (prox. 2 weeks from now) I think I will try and edit the main page and districts lots as I gain new information. After maybe another week, I think the main article could be a "star". In a month, I also want to nominate Edmonton for Destination of the Month. Do you think I can do it, and do you support it? Comments? (WT-en) Edmontonenthusiast 19:24, 23 October 2008 (EDT)Edmontonenthusiast

I don't know, I spent 10 days, working between 2 and 4 hours every day, getting the district where I live up to guide status, and it already had a lot of work put into it, since one of the admins here, also live there.
Edit, I am now 80% done central Edmonton, 90% done North Edmonton and am about to begin "West Edmonton". Wow, seems like a lot of work you've put into you're district. Saddly, I cannot help because I don't know much about Denmark or Copenhagen. Thank you for your words, what do you think about the rest? About the star article? About place of the motnh? Any additional comments? (WT-en) Edmontonenthusiast 19:49, 23 October 2008 (EDT)Edmontonenthusiast
Also, talking realistically, when I first put up the districts, I expect these status(s)...Central Edmonton: Guide, Mill Woods: Outline, West: Usable, North: Usable, East Central: Outline, Southwest: Usable, East: Outline. I am hoping not, but I really can't do it all by myself, I can probably do most, but I can't do all, or at least not in the time I want. Saddly, there's like no one else who lives in Edmonton and no one else Edits Edmonton even close to the way I do. I am glad I turned that article arround lots, but it is so much work. And I plan to do this to Calgary afterwards? Thats gonna be even harder A) I don't know as much B) It's further from guide/star...Comments? (WT-en) Edmontonenthusiast 19:53, 23 October 2008 (EDT)Edmontonenthusiast

you edited while i was writing some more - so here is my complete posting :)

I don't know, I spent 10 days, working between 2 and 4 hours every day, getting the district where I live up to guide status, and it already had a lot of work put into it, since one of the admins here, also live there. And the other two districts I've been working on; Indre by and Nørrebro has taken 1-2 weeks per district to get to guide status (again with alot of information already there). It's a lot of tedious work too - getting all the listings properly formatted, and adding any missing information to the existing listings. So I think you may be a bit optimistic, since you have a lot less to work on, than I did/do.

Also if you want to make it destination of month, it's pretty important (but no a requirement per se) to have maps for each district, with the restaurants, hotels, sights, etc. listed there. (for a great example, which I follow myself, see Chicago. And... I don't know Edmonton well, but generally we feature destinations when it's the best time to visit, and i expect this is in Spring and Summer, where you are going to have competition, as most of the candidates, fall in that time frame.

Hope that helps (WT-en) Sertmann 19:57, 23 October 2008 (EDT)

Comment on my full posting please. Yes, I am optomistic, HELLO MY NAME! Hheh, anyways if you want to see I supported your district for "star" article and I even did a little edit of my own in the article;). Hope I helped you there. Thanks, and comment! (WT-en) Edmontonenthusiast 20:00, 23 October 2008 (EDT)Edmontonenthusiast
Also, do you think Edmonton can make it, I mean as Dest of Mo.? The best time is prob. June, July, or August... (WT-en) Edmontonenthusiast 20:01, 23 October 2008 (EDT)Edmontonenthusiast

Also, what would you give this? edit

What article level would you give this? And, any suggestions? I haven't all the info. yet, but still...

OK, first of, please don't use my talk page as a template for your article - just create a new page called Edmonton/North Edmonton, and work on it there (you can just avoid linking to it, before you think it's ready to show the world).
Second, I would say that is like 5-10% complete, and would qualify as an outline article in our system - You need to have at least 4-5 entries, with pretty complete information, in the main categories, before it get's close to being a guide. there is a description of what it takes to make the grade here 1. (WT-en) Sertmann 20:34, 23 October 2008 (EDT)
Sorry, I really am...I feel so bad :(. Im new =here, sorrry. Anyways, thanks for your comments. Seriously-You really think I should just create the districts now instead of building up information? Please be honest? (WT-en) Edmontonenthusiast 20:37, 23 October 2008 (EDT)Edmontonenthusiast
Yeah, go right ahead, just don't link it on the main Edmonton page, until you have something useful. I Already made a template for you here Edmonton/North Edmonton, that should get you started. If you look at the end of each listing, there is a little gray text that says edit, try to click on one, and a whole new world of wikivoyage editing will reveal itself (seriously - it makes it so much easier to keep things up to date) only thing is for email addresses you have to go into edit mode ;-) (WT-en) Sertmann 20:58, 23 October 2008 (EDT)
Thankyou, could you look over Edmonton/West End, please? (WT-en) Edmontonenthusiast 21:02, 23 October 2008 (EDT)
They're linked already to Edmonton, I don't mind, it might mean more editors...but I will hold back on Edmonton pg linking it, at least until there is some basic info.(WT-en) Edmontonenthusiast 21:05, 23 October 2008 (EDT)
fine and fine :) but try to play around with the listing tool (clicking the edit link behind the listings) in the North Edmonton district, to get a feel about how it works. (WT-en) Sertmann 21:10, 23 October 2008 (EDT)

I have a question for ya! edit

Hey Sertmann, how are ya' doin'? I've been noticing you've been editing that district of yours from Copehagen. I see you're practically the only one and do it in mass ammounts. As you know, I am doing this for Edmonton alll by myself with districts and all. I wanted to ask you...how do you keep going? Do you have any tips? Thanks! Keep smiling, (WT-en) Edmontonenthusiast 17:11, 26 October 2008 (EDT)

Well actually I started doing work on Copenhagen because my Japanese sweetheart are coming on Copenhagen next summer, and I want to know everything there is to know about things to do and see in my city, before she comes, so I can make her love my hometown, and I thought it would share the research with other travelers :) But I guess you can't really use that for anything eh!?. However, I started doing work around here, because I really used wikivoyage a lot, when I was traveling around in Japan. It had loads of stuff I couldn't find in any other travel guide, and I wanted to give something like that back to the community, about the places I knows something about, so other travelers can have the same experiences I had, using wikivoyage in Japan. That's the motivation you need to find - sharing your insights about a place you love, so you can show other travelers the best things about that place, and make sure they have a nice time in Copenhagen or Edmonton, as only someone with passion for a place, can give them.
So care less about the acclaims and accolades, and more about the fact if you've done a good job, you'll give a bunch of travelers the best possible stay in Edmonton, they can have - which is something that Lonely Planet, Rough guide or whatever can't do, cause they don't share that passion. The more destinations this place have like that, the more people will contribute - and you will make the world a tiny bit of a better place to be - there is passion and motivation for you :) (WT-en) Sertmann 17:42, 26 October 2008 (EDT)
Cool, and I do agree with your points! Thanks! I am trying to make people believe two things about Edmonton (two 1990s generalizations) that aren't true-that we're boring and that we only have that stupid mall. Ugh I hate West ed. Lol. I am trying to promote Edmonton's urbanscape, natural beauty, awesome retail development (outside suburbs), amazing dining, and fabulous festivals. More than the regular thought of the city. THANKS! Keep smiling, (WT-en) Edmontonenthusiast 18:40, 26 October 2008 (EDT)

Thanks for picking up on that. Am at work at the moment so don't really have time to do much research... Just manage to drop in little bits and pieces here and there :) (WT-en) Nrms 06:06, 28 October 2008 (EDT)

Any thoughts? Keep smiling, (WT-en) Edmontonenthusiast 12:41, 29 October 2008 (EDT)
yeah, been busy with work, so haven't had much time to go on here. But thanks man :-) think you forget some good people, but since it's your own personal list i think that's just fine. And nice to be on it too :-) (WT-en) Sertmann 17:56, 29 October 2008 (EDT)
Hey, Sert'!!! Yeah, I know about work-two exams tomorrow, two projects for Friday...ugh! Don't have much time to edit much...errgh. Anyways, you are welcome, I probably missed some people because I haven't met them yet. I have to know them, silly. Anyways, do you like my "user page"? Interesting? I know it's different, thats for sure. Keep smiling, (WT-en) Edmontonenthusiast 18:06, 29 October 2008 (EDT)

Harbour Beach Resort edit

Have you guys ever heard of a compromise? Check the new listing, and please, oh pretty please, you two - just leave the listing as it is now, and spend your energy more constructively will you!? There are loads of other useful things to improve on this article, than having an infight over a single stupid property. (WT-en) Sertmann 04:53, 23 October 2008 (EDT)

User Open321 has contributed absolutely nothing to the guide, except to spam it with his own hotel listings (which he obviously has a stake in). It would be nice if he/she would contribute something else to the guide. (WT-en) gamweb 20:17, 30 October 2008 (EDT)
Which is perfectly OK per our policies, that shouldn't restrain you from making a compromise. Remember you have absolutely no ownership of articles on wikivoyage. Anyone who contributes as much as you do are appreciated here, don't doubt that - But i really don't like your behavior when something isn't going your way. Please take that as constructive criticism, and try to take it to your heart, I'm not trying degrade your contributions, but if you get yourself at odds with anyone contributing to Florida, you will do that yourself. - (WT-en) Sertmann 20:33, 30 October 2008 (EDT)

whyd edit

whyd you get rid of my colour in the deletion page? ¡Bien Días de los Muertes! (WT-en) Edmontonenthusiast 17:28, 31 October 2008 (EDT)

because caps and colours annoy the hell out of me! :op ... and besides that it really served no function - it just makes the page confusing to look at.
I don't want to start a fuss-but that's your opinion and it's my comment and you should not have done it for that reason. At least have asked me and confronted me, c'mon, it's my comment and if I want a little personality I should be able to do so. Happy Day of the Dead, (WT-en) Edmontonenthusiast 17:51, 31 October 2008 (EDT)!
Well, sorry I guess, i didn't think it would be that much of a deal since it's just the colors, and not your actual comments i deleted. (WT-en) Sertmann 17:54, 31 October 2008 (EDT)
It isn't a big deal but still. ---You know who.
Fair enough, I think i'll make a posting in the pub to see if it's just me this bothers, in which case, i'll just stick in my pipe :o) (WT-en) Sertmann 18:07, 31 October 2008 (EDT)
Ok, there I will voice my full opinion ;). ---ee

Hehheh, I know some stuff about Copenhagen. But not much, hopefully I'll read all yours and others work and maybe learn some bit more. Oh, are you learning anything aboout Edmonton?Keep smiling, (WT-en) ee talk 15:29, 5 November 2008 (EST).

heya sert', thought you might be interested Project:Collaborations of the month. by the way, that vid was hilarious. keep smiling, (WT-en) ee talk 10:37, 8 November 2008 (EST).

Well, I was actually going to suggest Edmonton the following month, depending on how my ideas are received, with all the work going into it, we should be able to get it "up there" if a few more people with different strengths put some work into it - turning something like Mill Woods into an interesting article definitely requires a lot of people's idea's and work. (WT-en) Sertmann 11:57, 8 November 2008 (EST)
Well actually you might be interested to know that it says March or January, right? Well whatever month Calgary gets, Edmonton would get the other one. What do you think? Keep smiling, (WT-en) ee talk 19:06, 8 November 2008 (EST).
Go to the collaboration page, Edmonton's there. State your opinion. Thanks, Keep smiling, (WT-en) ee talk 21:35, 8 November 2008 (EST).

Maps, etc. edit

Hi Sertmann!

I'm happy to do Copenhagen district maps as a one-off, but really they'll need a maintainer. I would suggest installing Ubuntu on a Virtualbox to do them yourself, after I setup the config files the first time.

What do you think?

-mark

Thanks for the reply mark. Not sure i get it though, if the imports get done, won't it just be regular SVG's i can edit in inkscape? I'm on a corporate PC and not sure that Virtual box is going to go down all to well (used to be a full time Ubuntu user when I had my own PC, so trust me, it's not that I don't want too). (WT-en) Sertmann 15:34, 11 November 2008 (EST)

What's your favourite part of Copenhagen edit

What's your favourite part and why? I'd like to learn why. Happy first day of snow in Edmonton, (WT-en) ee talk 17:35, 11 November 2008 (EST).

Honestly I can't name a favorite. One of the great things about Copenhagen, it the quarters are so different, and have different strengths. Copenhagen/Nørrebro (for it's raving nightlife) and Copenhagen/Christianshavn (because of the Canals and Christiania) are probably the best ones though. (WT-en) Sertmann 17:59, 11 November 2008 (EST)
Cool...Christiania? Happy first day of snow in Edmonton, (WT-en) ee talk 18:00, 11 November 2008 (EST).

Edm wikivoyagepress edit

I am talking with Jpotakol with making a Edmonton travel guide book from WikiTravel press. Now I know you don't know much about Edmonton, but I was wondering if you'd like to help some especially on how things run. I know you probably wouldn't have used the software, but if I do decide to to this book you seem to have common sense and everything and tend to read more into how stuff works than I do-you'd be able to help. Not to mention with transferring the information-I m ean, tthats mostly all it is! Keep smiling, (WT-en) ee talk 15:33, 15 November 2008 (EST).

erm, not sure what exactly you are asking me? Anyway, As far i gather there are still a few months left of work on Edmonton - so I might have finished up my work on Copenhagen by then - and have some more extra time on my hands, but then again, I change jobs in Janurary so I wouldn't really know. --(WT-en) Stefan (sertmann) Talk 15:46, 15 November 2008 (EST)
Sorry for not being clear. Just wondering if you wanted to help make sure the wording is right and if we are missing something in formatting to point it out. What do you mean a few month, I was just asked today? I don't get it? Keep smiling, (WT-en) ee talk 16:40, 15 November 2008 (EST).

Copenhagen DOTM edit

I may have brought this up. But would you like to nominate Copenhagen for DestinationoftheMonth? I am sure it'd do well. Maybe talk with elgard. Keep smiling, (WT-en) ee talk 19:05, 16 November 2008 (EST).

I'd rather not, the main article is in a sorry state, which at the very least should be fixed first, and that's a lot of work. Will get there, but I'm sorta struggling with motivation at the moment - huge pile of work done, and I'm not even half way, which is a bit discouraging. So I'm moving at a slower pace, but still moving forward, step by step. Besides what the rush, fortunantly there's no deadline on wikivoyage, so luckely you can just do what you feel like, when you feel like it :) --(WT-en) Stefan (sertmann) Talk 22:44, 16 November 2008 (EST)
Yeah good points. Remember, work for what you set out to do and be happy about it. Keep smiling ,(WT-en) ee talk 23:31, 16 November 2008 (EST).

No hard feelings edit

Hey Sertmann, things got a little rough there back about the Pakistani Etiquette. We obviously had different points. But looking back over it, I mean, it was just over using your left hand or not. It got way out of hand. Sorry if I was acting like a jerk or anything. But, there is one point, about how you think I've never travelled. Now, you need to get it through that not everyone wants a extremely different place/cultural experience when they travel. That does not mean they travel. Just because a place has similarities to where you are from does not mean that if people go there they aren't travelling. If you go there and explore and see different things, then YES it is a travel. If you go just to meet up your friends or to stay one night in a depot Greyhound, then no, that isn't a travel. Again, it depends what a person makes of it, you need to realise that. You also need to realise people have different preferences as to where they want to go. Some people like places that are different but yet similar to their home in a lot of ways (like Edmonton to Seattle, Houston to Toronto-both sets are quite the different mix but because of their location, political system, sociology, demographics, history, and nationality they have similarities). Notice, every place is different from each other, but there will always be a similarity. Even deep in Pakistan, it will have similarities to Zealand or Sweden or London or Rome or Greece or Iberia. I hope you get where I am coming from because what you said was extremely insulting. Keep Smiling, (WT-en) edmontonenthusiast [ee] .T.A.L.K. 15:23, 22 November 2008 (EST).

Well I was drunk after a night out, and might have come off slightly more aggressive than I usually would, but in any case I still stand behind my point. Remember, I would never have gotten into the argument, or said the things I had, if it wasn't because you said wrote that you had been offended by someone who was explaining the cultural norms of his (I assume) home country. I still find that ethnocentric, and think it has no place somewhere like Wikivoyage where we have contributors from all over the world. I would have sided with you in a reverse argument (stating people should not eat with their fingers in Canada, if that was the case, for example).
Travelling is a subjective thing, and we all have different definitions - I was clearly stating mine, I would never consider visiting another place in Denmark as travelling, and for the most part neither would I think of a trip to most of Norway, Sweden and Finland as travelling, except perhaps if was in the Sami areas up north, because it's basically the same culture, norms and languages. You are free to disagree with my definition, all you want, but I'm passionate about this, and I can't see you coming up with any compelling arguments to change it. Besides what does it matter if I think you haven't travelled, if you feel that you have, that should be the important part - but at least try to remember, you really haven't experienced any other culture (which is more than mildly different), so you should perhaps try to take more care, that you don't come of as ethnocentric as you did during that discussion. --(WT-en) Stefan (sertmann) Talk 13:32, 23 November 2008 (EST)
Thank's for the response. Why would you go on the computer after being drunk-to me-that doesn't mae sense-yet I hear it lots :S. I am sorry if I came off as ethnocentric, as that wasn't my point. My initial thought was I didn't get the idea of why a foreigner couldn't use their left hand-to me it is somewhat discriminatory and maybe I am like that because there are a lot of jokes I suppose about people with left handed, despite me onky being left handed at a portion of things (writting, eating), and although its a light joke, after a while it's quite sickening. But it was intresting to learn some about Pakistani and what seems a lot of developing countries. Yeah, Raja is from Pakistan he lives in Saskatchewan but is moving to Ottawa. Maybe, just a thought, the reason why you don't consider travelling in Denmark or nearby regions actual travelling is because you never really made it like it was a vacation of travel, you didn't act like a tourist because you assumed it's just like home. Again, just guess. But something about me is that I tend to care about what everyone thinks of me-so I can take things quite hard sometimes. Only specific situations where I won't. But, like i said, traveling is what you make of it, and how you do so will determine if it really is a travel. I am not very interested or comfortable going to most places that're outsode the culture of my own-the only ones would be Japan and Europe and Oceania-but, aside from New Zealand, very similar, even New Zealand is very similar (they just have a huge native thing-I know some former Zealanders). I personally like the culture I am used to, and I like the places with similarites-despite theym being different-like different stuff to do, but similar cultural norms. Anyways yeah! North Burbs edit

Nice work on the Northern Suburbs Ertmann! Keep Smiling, (WT-en) edmontonenthusiast [ee] .T.A.L.K. 12:51, 23 November 2008 (EST).

Help edit

Could you help in this/this situation? It is a little over whelming. I think it's an edit war. Keep smiling, (WT-en) edmontonenthusiast [ee] .T.A.L.K. 20:42, 25 November 2008 (EST).

Jpatokal count among some of us users, who care very deeply about this place. instead of complaining about the current state of the article.

All I am saying is that his edits in the article Bihar, reflects his personal opinions and anger. (WT-en) Manoj nav 09:36, 4 December 2008 (EST)
No it doesn't, it reflects wikivoyage's policies. As I've said elsewhere, instead of complaining, you should add the good and fascinating things about Bihar, and let the negative stay, to reflect a balanced view/article - which often becomes the best. --(WT-en) Stefan (sertmann) Talk 09:40, 4 December 2008 (EST)
Kindly participate in the discussion Talk:Bihar. (WT-en) Manoj nav 09:53, 4 December 2008 (EST)
I'm on my way out the door, I'll join in when I get some time later today.

Sakhalin edit

Whoah, just stumbled into your Sakhalin articles -- I am in awe. m(_ _)m I've been thinking about a trip down there by plane, but it never even occurred to me that I could take a ferry to Japan! And the Russia to Japan via Sakhalin itinerary is pretty close to OtBP status. (WT-en) Jpatokal 12:06, 9 December 2008 (EST)

I poked around a bit and found only one SVG map of Sakhalin (Sakhalin oblast, actually). You could try and fiddle around with a combination of that, and this far nicer PNG file from ru.wikipedia. Otherwise, a by hand trace of the latter map would look really nice. --(WT-en) Peter Talk 19:53, 10 December 2008 (EST)
Two small English pointers though: it's "several" with only one R, and the possessive of "it" is "its", not "it's". "It's" is the abbreviation for "it is", and there is no reason to ever use this in semi-formal writing (like here). (WT-en) Jpatokal 22:06, 10 December 2008 (EST)

Blacklist edit

Hi - a note on the blacklist. Many users are unaware of the Project:External links and similar policies, so when using the blacklist to block something other than a spambot be sure to use as many ways of possible to notify the user why the link is invalid - a comment in the revert and a note on the talk page at a minimum, and if the listings continue then use the blacklist but be sure to put a note on Project:Local spam blacklist so that the user has both a pointer to why the listing is blacklisted and how they resolve the issue. In addition, this provides other editors with some understanding of what the problem with the link was in case there are questions in the future. -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 11:03, 10 December 2008 (EST)

Sure, will do. --(WT-en) Stefan (sertmann) Talk 13:01, 10 December 2008 (EST)

Highway Template edit

I see that you added a few highway templates to cities along Interstate 4. Most highways in the US are signed EAST-WEST or NORTH-SOUTH and are consistent along the entire route. I know I-4 runs north-south for a long section, but all signs say "east" or "west". I think that putting the same direction as the sign is more helpful for the traveller. Also, a couple of the templates you added reversed the directions from the previous city : "south-north" then "north-south". I corrected these to be "west-east" along the entire interstate. Cool, sorry for the troubles... --(WT-en) Stefan (sertmann) Talk 23:17, 13 December 2008 (EST)

Other destinations edit

Hey Stefan, regarding your last edits to Denmark, the other destinations section is for only non-city/town destinations. So, "Legoland" would work, while "*Billund — a town notable for Legoland" does not. The section is mostly for major parklands and non-city islands, but you can fudge that a bit. You could take a look at Caucasus or Georgia (country) for fudge inspiration ;) --(WT-en) Peter Talk 01:10, 19 December 2008 (EST)

Khabarovsk edit

Sorry to say, I didn't spend any time in Khabarovsk. My next stop after Vladivostok was Irkutsk. I'll see if I can pitch in a little, though. I'm glad that part of Russia is getting some coverage on Wikivoyage! (WT-en) Gorilla Jones 23:06, 24 December 2008 (EST)

Merry Christmas edit

Hi Sert! Thanks a lot for all the help so you have a very very Merry Christmas. Thanks for the help on Edmonton's districting and your opinion was great, and helping me with all the times I caused wrong to the site, and for something to look up to kind of with Copenhagen and all your work. Keep it up and hope you get nice presents. Have a wonderful New Year, ok? Happy holidays, (WT-en) edmontonenthusiast [ee] .T.A.L.K. 12:52, 25 December 2008 (EST).
