Star Guide Usable Outline Redlink
Article Status To do
Jaipur Guide Destination of the Month for November 2015. Lots of good work was done on this article. One section that could still use some improvement is "Buy", where all bazaars should be listified and geocoded. There also might be additional good gem stores.
Ajmer Usable Now Usable, but a bunch more geo is needed throughout; some listings (e.g. in "Eat") lack names. Ambrosia's listing template in "Eat" is messed up.
Bharatpur Outline Lacking in information. Specifying locations for "listings" that are just names would be a good start.
Bikaner Usable Now thoroughly listified with geo, but "Drink" is still empty; if Bikaner is a dry town, at least there must be some good places to get masala chai? "Go next" is also empty. Bikaner is a very interesting destination. Bringing this article up to Guide, should be at least a moderate priority for this project.
Chittorgarh Usable Now Usable. The first half of "Do" is really "See" material; "Eat" could use more geo, and "Buy" could use location information for all the bazaars. Images should be distributed more evenly, and there's probably room for one or two more.
Jaisalmer Usable Could use more photos, if possible. Some geo has been done, and a thorough job would be great. Listification isn't complete, either, such as in "See". A bit of copy editing looks needed, too. This article has been brought up to Usable status; the next step would be to bring it up to Guide and prepare it for an Off the beaten path nomination. Guide status seems very feasible, and this is a very interesting travel destination.
Jodhpur Usable Beautifully illustrated article with a lot of information. Most entries are now listified, but several in "Eat", "Drink" and "Sleep" still are not, and quite a few need more precise location info. Now has a map and is further along toward Guide status, but still some ways short of it.
Kota Outline Needs more location information and content (a single restaurant and hotel don't seem nearly sufficient to list for a city that had over 1 million inhabitants in 2011) and some copy editing, lacks a pagebanner.
Udaipur Usable This article was at one time classed as a Guide, but none of the attractions is described with real directions (the reader has no idea how big Lake Pichola is before s/he goes and sees it) and "Do" is frustrating, in that some of the activities mentioned lack information about how to do them in Udaipur. Other sections seem better, but everything will need to be copy edited and have locations added where needed. This is a really promising article with a lot of engaging writing. Let's turn it into a real Guide. This could eventually be the next Rajasthani dotm.
