Somewhere, we should explain how and why to use an edit summary. It's no good for me to state that it's a good practice to cite your sources in edit summaries if we haven't explained what an edit summary is and how to write one. Other language versions should mentioned the edit summary, too. All I'm finding in terms of documentation for edit summaries on this site is in Wikivoyage:How to edit a page#Previewing and saving a page. I'm not sure that's really adequate.
