Yanjin

Yanjin (延津 Yánjīn) is in North Henan.

Yanjin County, affiliated to Xinxiang City, Henan Province, is located in the north of Henan Province, the north bank of the Yellow River.

history

• It was called Sour Date County in the fifth year of Qin's reign (242 BC), named after the many thorns in its territory.
• It was incorporated into Xiaohuang County by Wei after the Northern and Southern Dynasties, and into Nanyan County by Northern Qi.
• In 586, Sui Kaihuang County was renamed Sour Date County.
• Song Zhenghe seven years (1117) changed to Yanjin County, to the county north of the original Yellow River crossing Yanjin so named.
• Jin Zhenyou three years (1215) was promoted to Yanzhou, jurisdiction Yanjin, Yangwu, Yuanwu three counties, belonging to the Kaifeng Prefecture.
• Qing Yongzheng two years (l724 years) because of the river limitations, by the Kaifeng Province to Weihui Province.
• Yongzheng five years (1727) granting county and into Yanjin county.
• At the beginning of the Republic of China abolished the government set up a road, Yanjin belongs to the north of Henan Province.
• The Republic of 16 years (1927) to remove the Road system, Yanjin directly under the Henan Province.
• 1932 province under the administrative district, Yanjin belongs to the fourth administrative district.
• 1949 belongs to the plains province xinxiang area.
• 1952 years later belongs to the Henan Province xinxiang special (land) area.
• 1985 Yanjin belongs to xinxiang city.

Get in

Yanjin County, a small county. Therefore there is no fast subway station or train station. Therefore, if you want to visit Yanjin County, you need to take a train to Xinxiang, and take a long-distance bus in Xinxiang to reach Yanjin County.

Take a bus from Xinxiang East Station to Yanjin. It takes an hour and 20 minutes

By car

It takes one hour by car and costs ¥28. No tolls

Yanjin huoshao (延津火烧) Yanjin huoshao like baked cakes and larger than baked cakes, like meat box and more than meat box coke, round such as cake, color such as copper, the middle drum convex, distinct layers, known as a big meat more, outside coke inside tender, fragrant and not greasy, easy to eat and favored by diners. In 2013, Yanjin huoshao was announced by Xinxiang Municipal People's Government as the third batch of Xinxiang municipal intangible cultural heritage protection projects.

Yanjin minzushifu (民族食府) Yanjin minzushifu is a copper pot instant-boiled mutton, which attracts diners by its unique sauce
