Beulah is a town of 3,000 people (2021) in Western North Dakota. It lies on the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad line. Beulah's elevation is 1,780 feet.

editBeulah is home to a lignite coal-fired electric power generating station, operated by Basin Electric Cooperative. The plant uses coal from the Freedom Mine, owned by Coteau Properties. The German underpinnings of the community are noticeable today, as some residents still speak German.
