Elk Point is a small town in the Lakeland region of Alberta. It has an interpretive centre that explores the history of the Hudson's Bay Company and the North West Company in the area.

The wind blows the grass amongst the nine simple crosses, archaeological remains mark where buildings stood, and a cairn marks the Frog Lake tragedy of April 2, 1885.
