Better wording

Shortly, when we leave beta, we will be getting many more edits from people whose first language is not English.

We need to make an effort to make some of our messages (not our articles) less colloquial to US English users.

One suggestion:

Change the current
"Wikivoyage has strict policies about <a href="http://en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/Wikivoyage:External_links">external links</a>, so please review them to make sure you're in line."

To:
Wikivoyage has strict policies about <a href="http://en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/Wikivoyage:External_links">external links</a>, so please review them to make sure you conform. -- Alice^✉ 05:43, 29 December 2012 (UTC)

Just plunge forward and change the wording. This kind of rewording is not a policy change, and doesn't require consensus before the edit is made. Ikan Kekek (talk) 15:32, 29 December 2012 (UTC)

"Hit the Back button"

The text says you should hit the back button to adjust your edits. The back button took me to a "document expired" message, while the edit box on this page included the changes (at least "Show changes" had a lot of content, including my last addition.

I think the advice is risks loosing much work. Has MediaWiki changed its behaviour (making the message obsolete) or does this depend on browser, browser settings and local cache use?
