Alexander founded a bunch of cities named Alexandria. Three are mentioned in the Bactria article — Alexandria Eschate (furthest Alexandria) which is now Khujand, Alexandria-on-the-Oxus (al Khanoum on map) and Alexandria-in-the-Caucasus now Bagram — w:Alexander_the_Great#Founding_of_cities says over 20 in all.
Should we add a list of these here? Link to WP's list? Create a separate article? An itinerary on Alexander? The last has actually been suggested before at User talk:Altaihunters#Genghis Khan article?. Pashley (talk) 23:38, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
