Subdivide?

There are currently 24 cities in the "Cities" section. None should be removed because this is currently a bottom-level region article. But should it be subdivided into more region articles? If not, is there a way to subdivide the "Cities" section into some user friendly subsections? Ikan Kekek (talk) 01:33, 25 October 2020 (UTC)

I added some subheadings as a stopgap measure for the provinces, so now the list is a bit easier to read. Dividing the Andean Highlands into perhaps 3-4 subdivisions would be an improvement but to do it in a meaningful way that it would be good to have someone here familiar with Ecuador. --Ypsilon (talk) 15:27, 9 February 2022 (UTC)
