Suggested new alternative banner

I created a new alternative banner for this article (I initially created it first and foremost so that it would be used at the top of the parallel article in the Hebrew edition of Wikivoyage, yet I later decided to also suggest that the English Wikivoyage community would consider using it here as well). So, which banner do you prefer having at the top of this article? ויקיג'אנקי (talk) 05:21, 11 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Yes indeed. The new banner is beautiful. Ikan Kekek (talk) 06:39, 11 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
Both are pretty, but the new one shows the magnificant mountains behind the city together with the sea and the coastal plain - it has a lovely depth to it - and therefore I prefer it. Danapit (talk) 14:33, 11 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
I disagree. The buildings blends into the backdrop and it is hard to make anything out in the second image. I believe it will be a problem with every attempt to picture the city in its entirety due to the building colours, the ground and the rocks forming a colour continuum. I would keep the current banner. PrinceGloria (talk) 14:57, 11 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
PS. Do note that most of the small portion of the sea visible in the lower right hand part of the banner will probably be obscured by the menu belt. There is also very little sky remaining due to the crop and any shift in the crop would further reduce it. I do find it forced and not really nice visually.
I also prefer the original. The city is barely visible in the new one, meaning most people will just think the article is about a mountain range and not consider the beautiful city below, or the bay it sits on. James Atalk 09:48, 12 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
