Euros in Indonesia?
editCan someone explain to me why prices for several listings in this article are given in Euros? I didn't realize Indonesia had joined the Euro Zone. When did that happen? All sarcasm aside, turning those foreign currency numbers into rupiah would be a service to travelers. Thanks. Ikan Kekek (talk) 16:57, 23 March 2017 (UTC)
- I have edited the listings to use the currencies quoted by the resorts themselves. Converting these to rupiah doesn't make sense as exchange rates fluctuate. €100 may be Rp1.4 million today, and Rp1.5 million next month. I don't know why prices quoted in rupiah or US dollars were converted to €. That doesn't make sense either. Ground Zero (talk) 13:26, 24 March 2017 (UTC)
- I have added Rp equivalents at current exchange rates to enable comparison, but the €/$ prices should remain as they will become outdated less quickly. Ground Zero (talk) 15:33, 24 March 2017 (UTC)
- Why do these places quote prices only in Euros? They want only Euro-Zone customers? Ikan Kekek (talk) 22:41, 24 March 2017 (UTC)
- You'd have to ask them that question. Ground Zero (talk) 23:29, 24 March 2017 (UTC)
- I think it should be specially noted in each listing that the hotel chooses to list rates only in Euros. Ikan Kekek (talk) 00:08, 25 March 2017 (UTC)
- Nevermind: "prices listed in the currencies quoted by the resorts" is clear enough. Ikan Kekek (talk) 00:38, 25 March 2017 (UTC)

I never know that there is a place in Indonesia that is secretly joined the Euro Zone, interesting. Veracious (talk) 04:09, 9 September 2023 (UTC)
