Copyright violation
editIt seems that just about all information added by User:70.176.45.120 are copyright violations, from a lot of different sources. Ones that I found include:
- Lots from http://www.chandleraz.gov/, and works created by US city governments are subject to copyright.
- http://www.gilarivertourism.com/tourist_attractions.htm - blatant copyvio.
- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chandler,_Arizona - Wikipedia's licensing is not compatible with ours.
I've rolled back all edits from this IP. Although perhaps some of the content was not in violation of copyright laws, all content that I checked was, and I definitely don't have time to go through the 10,000+ characters of added content. --(WT-en) Peter Talk 18:45, 5 September 2007 (EDT)
- Too bad. Thanks for checking, though. (WT-en) Gorilla Jones 18:54, 5 September 2007 (EDT)
Random locations.
editWhen I entered coordinates for a listing in the Chandler, Arizona article, it showed the mark in China, which is not what I planned. I entered it again, and it showed in Algeria. Is there anything wrong? 70.172.32.68 18:01, 26 June 2023 (UTC)
- Well... do you have an incorrect minus sign somewhere? WhatamIdoing (talk) 20:01, 26 June 2023 (UTC)
- Or rather one missing: longitude was given as 112° and 248° (E). The former is indeed in China, the latter is probably put at 0° due to an out-of-bounds condition (248 > 180). –LPfi (talk) 21:14, 26 June 2023 (UTC)
- Done I fixed the coordinates up so now it's actually pointing to a location in Chandler, Arizona. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 09:47, 27 June 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you for doing so. 70.172.32.68 22:55, 28 June 2023 (UTC)
