Written like a Wikipedia article?
editThe 'see' section reads like a history of Mongolia and the greater part of World War II. It includes a WWII picture of tanks. Should it just be removed? --Andrewssi2 (talk) 01:29, 9 September 2015 (UTC)
- It's important history. Condense it if you like, but I think it should be moved to "Understand", with a normal "See" listing template used for the museum. Ikan Kekek (talk) 01:47, 9 September 2015 (UTC)
- It certainly is not a history of Mongolia; it does not even mention Genghis Khan. The tanks shown are at the battle described; I'll clarify the caption.
- I do not think visitors will understand the importance of the battle or the museum without a bit of background, & I think the current amount is about right. Moving the text to "Understand" would be fine, but I feel strongly that it should stay in the article. Pashley (talk) 20:54, 9 September 2015 (UTC)
- I still feel that the linking of the events here to the bombing of Hiroshima is rather tenuous. WWII was pretty large, and you could link pretty much any event to any other. Andrewssi2 (talk) 23:15, 9 September 2015 (UTC)
- You are right. I have now removed that & done a bit of other rewriting. Pashley (talk) 23:36, 9 September 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks! --Andrewssi2 (talk) 09:18, 10 September 2015 (UTC)
