Re-directs
editThis county has a raft of pages which have an intro cut n’ pasted from Wikipedia and not much else. They’re short on POIs and accommodation (even closed pro temp) so I propose:
- - Emo to Portarlington
- - Castletown to Mountrath
- - Timahoe and Stradbally to Port Laoise
- - Clonaslee to Mountmellick
- - Aghaboe and Cullohill to Abbeyleix
- - Ballaghmore > Roscrea
- - Ballylinan > Athy
These last two mean re-directing across a county boundary, but I can’t see anywhere better and there’s plenty of precedent.
The county town is here called Port Laoise – “Portlaoise” is the commoner spelling but there’s little advantage in switching. Grahamsands (talk) 09:10, 21 June 2021 (UTC)

Done as proposed. In the last few days wikipedia has switched spelling to "Portlaoise", so WV use of "Port Laoise" is now an oddity. I'll flip the spelling unless there's a cogent argument for status quo. Grahamsands (talk) 14:49, 28 June 2021 (UTC) - also DONE 1 July 2021.
