Talk:Discover
It looks like something clobbered this archive a few weeks ago and destroyed a number of older entries. It shouldn't be difficult to recover the clobbered stuff, but it would be nice to know why it happened. Bot problems? Something else? -- (WT-en) Bill-on-the-Hill 17:24, 26 August 2008 (EDT)
Organizing the Archive
editAs the months and years continue to go by, the archive will continue to grow and become difficult to navigate. Do you think it would be a good idea to make a page for each year as they pass? (WT-en) ChubbyWimbus 14:18, 12 June 2009 (EDT)
Our discover factoids are running low
editThere is probably a thing or two about places you edit a lot about that hasn't been there yet, right? Hobbitschuster (talk) 13:08, 10 July 2017 (UTC)
- Is there a way to find out fast what has already been there? It's not that easy, since the entries are spread over so many archive pages. (Although I'd assume if we have any repeats from 5 years ago that wouldn't be that much of a problem?) Drat70 (talk) 00:43, 12 July 2017 (UTC)
- The easiest way I could think of is to use the "what links here" facility at the page that includes the factoid you are meaning to add, to see whether it was linked from any Discover archive. May not be very useful for a page with hundreds of incoming links, though. Vidimian (talk) 20:15, 12 July 2017 (UTC)
