First of all, the English Channel isn't surrounded. But second, is there really a good reason for this article? How many bodies of water should we have articles for? The Niagara River and Rio Grande form international borders, but do they really need their own articles? Ikan Kekek (talk) 22:57, 13 June 2017 (UTC)
- This is categorized as an extra-hierarchical region, but nothing in the article distinguishes it from a body of water. Ground Zero (talk) 02:08, 13 October 2021 (UTC)
- Specifically, I think this should be deleted as failing the basic criteria of What is an article. As this is discussion has been open for four years with no reason provided, I do not think this is a controversial deletion requiring wv:vfd. Ground Zero (talk) 17:12, 18 October 2021 (UTC)
- I agree. It can be reinstated and opened up for discussion if anyone has a policy-based reason for objecting in this thread. Ikan Kekek (talk) 17:27, 18 October 2021 (UTC)
