This is just a list of places. The Wikipedia article is much more useful. I don't think this meets the test of Wikivoyage:What is an article?. I hope this will be developed into an itinerary article. If it isn't, it should be deleted. Ground Zero (talk) 03:43, 1 January 2024 (UTC)

The template hasn't been adopted. I think this article falls out of the scope of Wikivoyage and can be deleted without going to VfD. Ground Zero (talk) 14:09, 4 January 2024 (UTC)

Inaccuracy

Whole thing looks like it's tossed together without research or knowledge on the facts. Not sure what the author(s) (represented by a series of IP addresses) is/are intended to do here. List of places (or highway junctions) west of Illinois are inaccurate. I-90 goes from Illinois, up to Wisconsin and across toward Seattle, WA through Minnesota, South Dakota, NE Wyoming (Buffalo, Gillette, Sheridan); Montana (Jct I-94 in Billings MT; Jct I-15 in Butte), northern Idaho (across Coeur d'Alene and Sandpoint not Boise and Pocatello), and across Washington (Spokane, Moses Lake, Jct I-82 east of Ellensburg, Cle Elem, etc). It could be made into an article, if someone had the knowledge and inclination. I have neither. If you do, I will leave it for , but otherwise, I think it should be removed as "not a Wikivoyage article". Ground Zero (talk) 19:53, 12 January 2024 (UTC)

Interstate 94 & old Yellowstone (Auto) Trail

Interstates 90 and 94 closely parallel each other so this article may include Interstate 94 as well. I-94 splits from I-90 in Billings, Montana and goes straight across Montana and North Dakota and into Minneapolis, MN. I-90 curves south from Billings, into northeastern Wyoming and goes across South Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin where it intersects I-94 east of Tomah, WI. From Tomah, both run concurrently with each other as I-90 to Madison where they split again. I-94 continues east into Milwaukee while I-90 goes southeasterly into Chicago via Rockford, IL. Both run concurrently as I-80,90 & 94 east of Chicago towards Lake Station, Indiana. From Lake Station, I-90 continues east towards Boston while I-94 goes northeasterly towards Marysville, MI via Detroit in Michigan. I-90/94 were built to replace or bypass a series of east-west US Highways (US 10, 12, etc., State Routes-200 in Idaho, Montana and North Dakota (they could be US 10)) and is on a series of turnpikes/tollways between Chicago and Boston that predate the interstate highways. I-90/94 and their preceding US Highways/turnpikes follow the old Yellowstone Trail. Look up the I-10, I-5, Lincoln Highway (US 30/I-80); Trans Canada (closest parallel highway in Canada); and other similar Wikivoyage highway itinerary articles in other countries for a 'template' on how to create this article.
