Air traffic noise? edit

Is Jimbaran under flight paths or is there much air traffic noise?

Rationale for using a photo of a resort restaurant edit

Why does this photo not violate the prohibition on advertising images? Ikan Kekek (talk) 11:34, 1 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Was not intended to be advertising, I have not financial or professional connection to this resort or any hotel or tourist company for that matter. Just wanted to show what it looked like, thought that was informative but having now read Wikivoyage:Accommodation listings#Avoid using images I see your point. Could say it is unique to the region with the building without walls. If you disagree feel free to remove. --Traveler100 (talk) 12:05, 1 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
I like the new caption and have no further objection. Ikan Kekek (talk) 12:45, 1 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hotel rates in US dollars? edit

Aren't the rates really in Rupiah? I changed the key from dollars to Rupiah, but what about some of the listed hotel rates themselves? Ikan Kekek (talk) 06:54, 15 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Most probably Some are, but many of the swankier prices quote in USD (perhaps to conserve their plastic zeroes for the price board - grin). --W. Frankemailtalk 08:39, 15 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
It seems weird. I realize most people pay with a credit card, but I seriously doubt that their accounts aren't charged an exchange rate and commission if they are dollar-based accounts. Ikan Kekek (talk) 08:46, 15 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
