Mapframe covered with gray layer

The mapframe, followed by a mapshape produces a map covered with a gray layer in this article. Removing the mapshape does not change this. The same happens with Murmansk Oblast, but not with all other regions of Northwestern Russia. What is wrong here? --FredTC (talk) 12:25, 10 December 2021 (UTC)

@FredTC: I think it happens intermittently to a lot of articles. I suppose there is a bug, where timeouts at some intermediate layer aren't properly handled. It should be analysed and reported at Phabricator. I haven't taken the time to try to isolate it. It should probably be discussed in the Pub. –LPfi (talk) 12:36, 10 December 2021 (UTC)
