Get in

edit

A lot of the information in Get in is duplicated between the articles about the country and the city. Should we de-duplicate this information? Where would be the best place for this information to go? Math1985 (talk) 21:42, 23 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Tram Map

edit

Unfortunately the Wikipedia article has a pretty unusable tram map as it does not distinguish between stations already open and stations yet to come. Can somebody please draw a map? I think it would be very helpful for this article... Hobbitschuster (talk) 16:08, 7 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

The Wikipedia article links to what I can only assume is the official website, where after a bit of digging I found this image. I'll see if I can manage to work it into a proper Wikivoyage-style city map.

Cloche d'Or to Findel Airport is the planned extent some time in the 2020s. Currently it only has eight stations between Pafendall and Luxexpo. However, the first extension is apparently planned for this year... Hobbitschuster (talk) 16:47, 7 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
Despite this edit, the line does not (yet?) show up on the dynamic map... Hobbitschuster (talk) 19:17, 3 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
Yep, I had to create a Wikidata item for the line (d:Q50319281). It has an OSM Relation ID as well as an sRGB color hex triplet, but since it is a newly made connection from OSM to WD and vice versa, I think we should take a day or two to have the line appear. It might be there tomorrow morning, but it also might not. I've linked WD and OSM in the exact same way as I did for the Amsterdam and Rotterdam Metros, of which line  51  (Amsterdam) took roughly one and a half day to appear. It's not a bug or an issue, it's just a slow process.

@Hobbitschuster: The map should be showing now, as it does so for me. If not, purge the page to force the page to update.

It does. Thanks. But why purple? Hobbitschuster (talk) 13:34, 6 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
That's the sRGB hex set in OSM ( #64318F ). I just copied it. I can change it to the same yellow that LuxTram uses on the map on their website (#EAAA00), which would look like this:  LuxTram 1 , or either of the other colours used in LuxTram's logo ( #00A9DF  #96D600  #E21C79 ). All it takes to edit it is a change to d:Q50319281's sRGB color hex triplet.

Well for a single line there's not as pressing a need to assign it any given color... But perhaps if and when a second route opens, we should see which route designations and colors Luxembourg decides upon... Hobbitschuster (talk) 17:27, 6 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Freedom of panorama issue. Nice photo, but not visible on the page. We'll need to watch for deletion requests for every other image of a modern building on this page, though. Ikan Kekek (talk) 08:56, 7 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
