Do we want to save this as fair use? Ikan Kekek (talk) 20:32, 9 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
If there is no FoP in the United States, we can't host it locally either as Wikivoyage's servers are hosted in the US. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 23:57, 9 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
Untrue. Do you understand the concept of fair use? Ikan Kekek (talk) 00:13, 10 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
As far as I'm aware, fair use files still need to follow US law. If murals would be considered as fair use by US law, then we can upload it. Otherwise, we can't. SHB2000 (talk | contribs | meta) 00:28, 10 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
Please read Wikivoyage:Non-free content, particularly the "Exemption Doctrine Policy" section of that page. It's important for you to understand how fair use is regarded on this site, because the entire reason for the exemption doctrine is to enable this site to host images of very prominent landmarks in art and architecture that readers need to see, such as the Cloud Gate (known as The Bean) in Chicago/Loop. So getting back to this photo: do we want to save it and use it or not? Ikan Kekek (talk) 01:27, 10 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
Return to "Magnolia (Arkansas)" page.
