The direction of this article

Hi @City-busz: Your contributions are really impressive, and I must thank you for making such a mark in a short space of time.

However, I'm concerned that this article is becoming too listy and overwhelming. It seems like you're trying to include every restaurant, bar, and hotel in town, when really you should be focusing on the few most recommended places. Imagine you're a foreign visitor to Nagykanizsa, and want to get a nice Hungarian meal, and then find a really laid-back bar the locals love. How would you go about this when you're confronted with so many options, but where none of the options really tell you anything about what to expect?

Take a look at Wikivoyage:Goals and non-goals, and specifically point 7 ("Yellow pages") to see what I'm talking about. And then look back at your 'Eat' and 'Drink' sections - because you've listed so many items, but haven't very often filled in the content field (where you get to say what a venue is like, how the atmosphere is, what are the recommended dishes, what sort of people go there - qualitative information), there isn't any way of distinguishing between the many different options.

I would encourage to stop adding new listings at this point, and start adding in some of that qualitative information to the listings which are there, and then maybe think of cutting some of the less recommended venues out. For instance, 43 'Sleep' listings for a small city is far too many. There are about 20 just in the 'Surroundings' subsection, not categorised as budget / mid / splurge. As a guide, each subsection (i.e. 'pubs' or 'mid-range restaurants') should have a maximum of nine items listed. Otherwise, it just gets too long and hard to use.

When I look at how the article was before you started editing, it's clear you have made a lot of improvements, and I hope you will continue to improve articles about Hungary, because we need as many people like you as we can get. But please do try to prioritise quality over quantity.

Yep, I largely agree. The amount of listings is okay currently but any more and it would start to get overwhelming. My advice would be to now add descriptions for at least the majority of the listings. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 23:35, 12 November 2018 (UTC)

So I've done related work. I've moved all the listings about Letenye that were in this article to a new Letenye article — City-busz, it would be great if you could add the other information, like the "understand" and "get in" sections. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 01:59, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
