About stay safe: K street between 3rd and 13th is pedestrain only, with light rail trains running from 7th to 12th. Its a joke only someone from sacramento would get, and they aren't the ones who need travel advice. when I get soem time, I'll give this an update, but if someone else wants to take a stab, go ahead.
Alternative banner for this article?
editIn the Hebrew Wikivoyage we are currently using this banner instead of the one which is currently used here. Do you think too that this banner would would better than the existing one? ויקיג'אנקי (talk) 03:31, 5 April 2014 (UTC)
- I prefer the current banner, in this instance. If the new banner were cropped to focus on the bridge plus the river boats, I might possibly feel differently about it. Right now, it feels somehow like too wide a panorama, as the left side past the boats is not interesting to look at, in my opinion. That said, the current banner is good, so there's no urgency in replacing it. Ikan Kekek (talk) 05:39, 5 April 2014 (UTC)
- The #2 is used in Sacramento County and the #1 is used in Sacramento. I think the other way around is better. I don't think #2 is perfect, for some of the same reasons as User:Ikan Kekek mentioned, but I think the banners make more sense the other way around.
- I already switched them around, but upon discovered the comments above, I switched them back. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 16:05, 1 December 2018 (UTC)
- I, for one, am fine in endorsing your thinking. Ikan Kekek (talk) 19:20, 1 December 2018 (UTC)
- Just want to make sure that we're on the same wavelength — I support using #2 here, not because it's a great banner, but because it's more appropriate here than at Sacramento County. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 19:51, 1 December 2018 (UTC)
- Yes, I got that. Ikan Kekek (talk) 08:40, 3 December 2018 (UTC)
