Which banner is better? The first shows a more recognizable landmark, but I think the second does a better job conveying the area's scenic beauty. (I might be biased because I took the second photo.) Admittedly both banners are of Danxiashan, which we now have a separate article for. —Granger (talk · contribs) 04:08, 6 November 2019 (UTC)
- I'm the person who took the photo for the existing banner, and I prefer my photo over yours (yes, I am biased!), though mainly because my general preference is for banners that include an easily recognizable landmark. I do agree that your photo has more aesthetic appeal, so I wouldn't really mind if we swapped my banner for yours. Perhaps, however, since we now have a separate article on Danxiashan, it might be better to have a banner that showed some other place in Shaoguan. STW932 (talk) 04:58, 6 November 2019 (UTC)
- Okay, new idea: let's use the sunset banner to replace the drab banner at Northern Guangdong, and make a new banner of somewhere else in Shaoguan for this page, like you suggested. —Granger (talk · contribs) 13:33, 6 November 2019 (UTC)
