Byron Bay section in Drive
edit@Ground Zero: - As you questioned "What does this mean to someone not in NSW", Byron Bay is home to people like Chris Hemsworth, Zac Efron, Olivia Newton John etc. all live there. SHB2000 (talk) 08:06, 16 March 2021 (UTC)
- So would it be appropriate to change the description to something like "Welcome to Celebrityland — home to many Australian movie and music stars"? Australians probably know why Byron Bay is famous, but non-Australians won't. Ground Zero (talk) 10:54, 16 March 2021 (UTC)
- But many US celebs also have a home in Byron Bay. SHB2000 (talk) 09:11, 17 March 2021 (UTC)
- OK. Can you suggest some wording to explain this? I've never heard of Byron Bay before. "Welcome to Celebrityland" only hints at what is going on, but doesn't inform me. We shouldn't be writing only for people who are already in the know about a place. Many people readers this article will be dumb foreigners like me. Ground Zero (talk) 10:41, 17 March 2021 (UTC)
- To be frank, I actually didn't know what Byron Bay was when I lived rural Queensland. I knew about it when my family moved to NSW. But I have reworded it on the article as what you suggested. SHB2000 (talk) 11:15, 17 March 2021 (UTC)
