Northernmost sand dunes edit

From where is the information that these are the northernmost sand dunes in the world? I think I've read that there are sand dunes close to Pöyrisjärvi in Pöyrisjärvi Wilderness Area at 68.72°N (i.e. > 1000 km farther north). It might of course be a question of how you define "sand dune", but in that case the statement should be qualified in a suitable manner. --LPfi (talk) 19:04, 20 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

I don't know who is right, but I've added a citation and a qualifier, "active". Maybe the Pöyrisjärvi dunes are passive or dormant or whatever. Ground Zero (talk) 21:39, 20 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
OK. I note the reference in the edit summary. I have no idea how a "dune" is defined and have not seen the Pöyrisjärvi dunes, so will not argue. --LPfi (talk) 22:54, 20 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
