“Alleged portrait”

edit

Wouldn’t it make more sense to use a painting which is definitely of him? --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 21:17, 18 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

I see now at w:George Vancouver there aren’t any alternatives. Do we need to include a portrait? --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 21:21, 18 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
for consistency with the other explorers' articles, I think it would be fitting. But the statue picture is beautiful and significant and merits a paradigm break here. Ibaman (talk) 21:26, 18 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
It’s fine, just that “alleged” sounds to me like a forgery, which it isn’t, as I understand. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 22:19, 18 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Guide status

edit

Wikivoyage:Itinerary status describes the criteria for determining the article status of an itinerary. It specifies that a Guide status itinerary "should", not "must" have a custom page-banner. Therefore it's not mandatory, but would be nice to have. Ibaman (talk) 14:12, 22 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

I will include one. I for example mistakenly thought the current banner was a custom pagebanner. --Comment by Selfie City (talk | contributions) 15:30, 22 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
