'West Valley'

WEST- Litchfield Park, Tolleson, Avondale

These three regions of Arizona's West Valley have much more to offer than expected. For my RTM404 class for Arizona State Univeristy, we are trying to create a market for the west valley. Most residents like to stick with the typical Scottsdale atmosphere and think only negative about the west valley.

Their such coments include, "We might get shot" or "It's in the ghetto" but they haven't explored it to truly see what the west valley has to offer. My divisions I am focusing on include Litchfild Park, Tolleson, and Avondale. Attractions is my main focus on each of these sectors but attractions comes with so much more to offer.

Litchfield Park- What an amazing part and historical area of Arizona. Litchfield Park offers a historic resort known as the Wigwam. It is a Starwood hotel and offers beautiful rooms, high class atmosphere, and partners up with City of Litchfield for events. I was married there and they offer so many different sites for your reception as well as the ceremony. They have sites that offer up to 300 people for your event. The Wigwam also has some great food and even a Starbucks inside the lobby area. Downtown Litchfield is also a historic site because it has some incredible town food and have really grasped the consept of it's history. They have award winning events and a great community center. Also the World Wildlife Zoo is also located here in this town and has some exotic attractions as well as some great lighted events.

Tolleson- Now everyone thinks of the ghetto with this town because it is so old, but it does carry some class. They have a high end club and a restuarnt known as Fuego. They also have a Pete's Fish and Chips which has been there since the 1950's and is still up and running. There is still to this day its farm land and hosts some of it's own events.

Avondale- This town is now growing intensly, if you are familiar with Arizona you are likely to have heard of City of Avondale. They are well known for all of there events but most of all, PIR (Phoenix International Raceway). There is so much to offer here with hiking, viewing, and family entertainment.
