I am an explorer and a GPS user. I love to explore nature and to go to odd and out-of-the-way places no one knows about. Why go to Yosemite when you can go to Shuteye Peak? It's just as beautiful and a there's a heck of a lot less people.
I don't like tours. I don't like sanitized vista areas and walkways and handrails for the public's protection. I like caves you can just go in and explore, not ones you have to pay $15 to take a tour of. I would like nothing more but to get lost in the Australian outback on motorcycle or set out on Hudson Bay on a snowmobile.
Geocaching has led me to a lot of great places. I also like the idea of confluences, but have yet to successfully visit one to the exact point.
I'll probably be mostly editing stuff in Southern California, Desert (California), and various other parts of the United States of America.
