My name is Richard Petersen. I'm currently living in San Jose (California) the United States of America. I've lived and studied in Spain and Japan, and I've travelled most extensively in North America and Asia. Some of my favorite journeys outside the United States have been in:

• Japan
• Mexico
• Nepal

My travel interests tend toward the natural history (geology, climate, environment) as well as the history and culture, of the places I visit.
