Stuart Edwards is a Pom living in Sydney.
I came across Wikivoyage in late 2005 and hope to see it as the future of travel guides; no more carrying around heavy guide books, 99% of which you never read. As the content of Wikivoyage expands, I hope to see a program developed that would allow static downloads of pages to users' PDAs for those times when web access is not readily available.
I enjoy visiting new places around the globe, particularly sites of great natural or historic beauty, and I like to post my favourite pictures on my website.
Places I am interested in contributing to
The following are places I have either contributed to editing, or am planning to do so in the near future.
- Tunisia — in particular the Roman sites (El Jem, Dougga, Sufetula), Douz and Matmata.
- Angkor Wat, surrounding temples and Siem Reap.
- Latvia and Lithuania — two interesting countries worth a long weekend visit.
- Australia — as and when I go somewhere that needs information adding.
