Hello!

Welcome to Wikivoyage. You can edit your preferences to change how the software works for you. Please take a second to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you're new to our wiki software, MediaWiki, look at the Wiki markup to get an idea of how to edit a page. If you need help, check out the help desk, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub.

Thanks for adding information about Greenfield Village. As a general rule, we prefer to include this kind of information in the article for the city an attraction like this is in, rather than putting it in a separate article. That way someone visiting Dearborn can see all the basic info about Greenfield Village, and someone interested in visiting can find information about hotels in the area on the same page. The only exceptions we make for this are for very large amusements parks with on-site lodging, where people are likely to spend the night (e.g. Disneyland). - (WT-en) Todd VerBeek 10:42, 11 April 2007 (EDT)

Travel chat board

edit

Wikivoyage isn't meant to be a chat board, and I would guess that several of the questions you have left on talk pages may never be answered. If I were you I would check out the forums on Trip Advisor where you'll be much more likely to get responses from locals. If you do find the information you are looking for, it would be great if you could update the article. -- (WT-en) Fastestdogever 15:55, 28 April 2007 (EDT)

OR! Check out the brand new forums on Wikivoyage Extra! (WT-en) Maj 16:29, 28 April 2007 (EDT)

Ok, good advice, thanks! (WT-en) Amssports06 20:43, 28 April 2007 (EDT)
